The Mercers' Association of Schools
The Company has fifteen schools and colleges that are closely associated with it, formerly referred to as The Mercers’ Cluster of Schools, including the St. Paul's Schools and Thomas Telford School.

Within the group there are some schools where the governing body is appointed by the Mercers’ Company.  There are also schools on whose governing bodies the Company has a right to representation and others where, although there is no formal right to representation, Governors sit by invitation.

For a full list of Associated Schools, some of which are City Academies, please click here.

The expertise and networks developed through our work with our schools has led us to develop our Educational Consultancy Service, offering advice and guidance to clients in maintained and independent schools and colleges, and to Educational Trusts.

The Mercers' Company and the Corporation of London have a close association with Gresham College, founded by Sir Thomas Gresham in 1596.
