of a new almshouse building in the grounds

Special Features: |
The almshouse is a lovely grade II* listed building on the riverfront. There
is a large secluded garden. The 17th century Chapel is used for regular services conducted by the almshouse chaplain
(C of E). Resident warden on site.

Eligibility Criteria: |
Must be resident in Greenwich for at least four years and of limited financial
means. The first priority is to provide housing for single men but under the recently
revised Scheme of Management women and couples may also apply for accommodation. |
The almshouse is managed by the Mercers’ Company as trustee of the Earl of Northampton’s
