Public Sermons
There are several ancient trusts providing for the preaching of sermons in Mercers'
Chapel. Gifts and bequests for sermons were amalgamated to meet present day requirements
and two public sermons are now preached in the chapel each year - one in Advent
and one in Lent.
The Lent Sermon will be held on 5 March 2008 at 5.30 pm and will be prached
by the Rav'd Canon Jonathan Gough (CF) Joint Force Senior Chaplain Afganistan
(Designate).
