The Fund obtained charitable status in April 1957.  The registered number is 313222.
Principal objects
The principal objects of the charity are to provide bursaries towards the fees of children aged eleven through to eighteen years at independent schools and grants to students under twenty five years who are pursuing full time education. With regard to bursaries, priority is given to children who are in their final two GCSE years.
