Our Members’ charity, the Charter 600 Charity, which welcomes participation and donations from Members to support charitable causes making a significant difference, has awarded £60,000 in grants to two charitable organisations for its 2025 Awards.
This year’s theme focused on Offenders and Rehabilitation of Ex-offenders, a sector that plays a vital role in supporting individuals in the criminal justice system, working with some of the most marginalised communities, providing essential support, advocacy, and rehabilitation and resettlement services “through the gate.”
For the 2025 Awards, the following two charities were selected to receive £30,000 each:
- Working Chance is the UK’s only employment charity for women with convictions, providing coaching, skills training, and confidence-building to help them achieve financial independence
- LandWorks is a Devon based, award-winning resettlement charity providing a supported route back into employment and the community for people in prison or at risk of going to prison.
We’re delighted to be supporting Working Chance and LandWorks with their vital work and programmes delivered to beneficiaries.
