Charter 600 Awards 2026 – £80,000 Awarded to Six Hospices and Palliative Care Charities
C600 Awards 2026

Our members' charity, the Charter 600 Charity, which welcomes participation and donations from members to support charitable causes making a meaningful difference, has awarded £80,000 in grants to six charitable organisations through its 2026 Awards.

This year's Awards focused on Hospices & Palliative Care, recognising charities that provide specialist care and support to people living with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Following member nominations, St Richard's Hospice and The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust were selected to each receive a grant of £30,000.

  • St Richard’s Hospice provides free care and support for people with incurable illnesses and their families across Worcestershire. The C600 grant will support a Specialist Palliative Care Social Worker, expanding bereavement and emotional support for children and teenagers affected by the serious illness or loss of a loved one.
  • The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust provides respite and palliative care for more than 1,000 patients and their families each year across Hampshire. The C600 grant will support its Hospice at Home service, funding overnight telephone and nursing support to help more people remain at home with comfort and dignity.

The strength and quality of applications received this year also led to the remaining four shortlisted charities each receiving a grant of £5,000 through the Charter 600 Awards:

We are delighted to be supporting these charities and the vital work they undertake for people living with life-limiting conditions and their families.
