The Hall can host conferences for up to 140 attendees, dinners for up to 156 and receptions for up to 200.
It is suitable for a wide range of events, including smaller occasions such as roundtables, breakfast meetings and high tea, and larger events such as formal dinners, concerts, lectures and awards presentations.
There is WiFi throughout the Hall, each room is air conditioned and there is full disabled access.

The largest function room at Mercers’ Hall, which can be set to suit your requirements.
Capacity 32-100
This recently refurbished room is traditionally used for sit down meals or buffets. The room is versatile and able to suit your requirements.
Capacity 32-100
Located next to the Court Dining Room is the Large Court Room – a bright and spacious area. It is used mainly for meetings but can also be an additional space for catering at large events.
Capacity 14-20
For more intimate events, the Small Court Room provides the ideal setting.
Capacity 18-25
The room has ample space for small meetings as well as sofas and an area to relax during breaks.
Capacity 18-200
This well-lit area is the perfect setting for drinks receptions or to relax whilst waiting for guests. It is located next to the Chapel and is currently also being used as an art gallery.
The grand ceremonial staircase leads from the entrance through to the hallway. The staircase leads up to the hallway which can be used an area for pre-dinner drinks for smaller events; it is also an ideal space to receive guests
